Powered by our very own social enterprise Sunrise Studios.

A safe space for young people to express themselves through music.

Our Jam Café is a vibrant and inclusive creative space designed for young people aged 13-17 to explore, express, and develop their passion for music whether through songwriting, performing or electronic music creation.

Taking place weekly at Sam’s Wellbeing Hub + Café in Lowestoft, our free sessions provide a welcoming environment where participants can experiment, create, and perform – whilst connecting with like-minded individuals in a safe and supportive setting.

Our Youth Forum, Lowestoft Youth Collective: By taking part in our Jam Cafe young people will also get the opportunity to be part of our monthly youth forum meetings, these will now bolt on to our Jam Cafe sessions once a month to allow more people to take part.

Collaboration & Youth Voice – Across 2023 & 2024 we delivered the pilot project named ‘Strike A Chord’ to identify direct need and projects that people under 25 would like to see in Lowestoft.

Acting on feedback received from our youth forum, and learnings taken from the ‘Strike A Chord’ project, we created these weekly Jamming Sessions as an opportunity for young people in our community to directly access music, to experiment, create and perform.

This project is supported by Youth Music, with thanks to Spotify.
