You’ll be able to create, produce and record your own music both individually, and as a group for our end of project album, and all music will be put on streaming services along with a professionally made music video.

We’ll also support you with building confidence and self-esteem to perform live, and how music benefits our mental health.

Throughout the project guitars, a drum kit, keyboards, percussion instruments and professional recording/performance equipment will be available.

A free instrument loan scheme to book instruments out will also be available towards the mid-term of the project.

We know that sometimes forms can be boring or take some time, so we’ve tried to make ours as simple as possible!

Application Form

If you have any questions or need assistance with our application form please email: sunrisestudios@accessct.org

Our application form will close at midday on 26 May or when spaces are filled (whichever is soonest).

Sessions will take place at The Junction, a brand new safe and welcoming space for young people in Lowestoft.

Strike A Chord sessions will co-produced with you as a participant with Music Leader and youth staff members.

We hope that the project will also create opportunities for like minded individuals to share there passion with each other and make new friends.

Taster Sessions:
We have 2 drop-in taster sessions where you can meet our friendly team, and sign up if you haven’t done so already.

Drop in Taster Session 1 – Tuesday 23 May, 6pm to 8pm
Drop in Taster Session 2 – Thursday 25 May, 4pm to 6pm

All participants will be able to join our own record label, which will allow participants benefiting from the project to be picked up free of charge and have their music released publicly on streaming services, earn from music and also made available through your own artist page to be used on Instagram & TikTok etc.
