Community Mental Health Transformation Experts by Experience Programme
SERVICE USER/CARER RECRUITMENT WAVE 2
The Norfolk and Waveney Health and Care Partnership is working in partnership with the Waveney Lived Experience Advisory Forum (LEAF) to drive forward the co-production and co-design ambitions of the new Community Mental Health Transformation Plans, and ensure the voice of lived experience has an equal voice in decision-making processes.
We have successfully recruited a number of experts by experience into the programme who are now working with the partnership in the development of the transformation plans.
We are now in Wave 2 of our recruitment process and we are looking for individuals who have a lived experience of Severe Mental Illness (sometimes known as an ‘SMI’), either themselves or as a Carer, who are passionate about mental health and really want to make a difference.
We have listened to feedback about the previous expression of interest pack, so have reduced the content and split the pack into two parts to make it more accessible.
The closing date for Wave 2 EOI’s is THURSDAY 15TH JULY 5pm
We are looking to recruit members to support this work for at least the next 6 months, and the roles are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Norfolk and Waveney.
There are:
– Community Transformation Reference Group Member Roles at £15 per hour, 2 hours per month (a total of nine places available)
– Community Transformation Steering or Operational Group Member Roles at £18 per hour, approx. 8 hours per month (a total of three places available)
For full details of the programme, roles, support offer and how to participate please refer to the attached Information and Expression of Interest Pack , also available in pdf format here.
A video recording of the information in the pack is also available by clicking here.
Additional assistance is also available to support expressing interest in these roles as required. Please email Ashleigh.hoskin@accessct.org to discuss. We are keen to ensure diverse representation from across Norfolk and Waveney so please share with your networks across the area and support us to make this opportunity available to as many people as possible.
