Since May 2025, corporate teams and external partners have contributed a staggering 189 hours of community service to Access Community Trust. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we are officially reopening our doors to new corporate volunteering teams!
At Access Community Trust, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to achieve their full potential. Our corporate partners are instrumental in making this happen by helping us create bright, welcoming environments where our clients feel valued and supported.
Impact in Action
In recent months, teams from Sizewell C, Jobcentre Plus, and ANDYSMANCLUB have rolled up their sleeves to transform our spaces across the region. Their hard work has directly improved the lives of the people we support every single night.
Some of our favorite recent transformations include:
- Green Spaces Reimagined: Teams provided essential restorations to the community gardens at STEAM Ipswich and the front gardens at Beaconsfield House and the Fyffe Centre, creating peaceful outdoor sanctuaries for our residents.
- Courtyard Transformation at Sam’s: A dedicated team from ANDYSMANCLUB worked tirelessly to transform the courtyard at Sams Wellbeing Hub and Café in Lowestoft, creating a vibrant, safe outdoor space for visitors to connect and recharge.
- A Fresh Start Indoors: Volunteers took on major decorative projects at Bostock House, repainting communal areas and individual bedrooms to help create a sense of dignity and “home.”
Why Volunteer with Access?
Corporate volunteering isn’t just about “giving back”—it’s about team building with a purpose. By bringing your team to an Access site, you’ll be:
- Strengthening Local Roots: Directly supporting the fight against social isolation and homelessness.
- Boosting Employee Wellbeing: Providing your staff with a rewarding break from the office that offers a tangible sense of achievement.
- Supporting Social Inclusion: Helping us maintain high-quality facilities for our housing, mental health, and youth services.
